I’m writing this on 1st January 2020. I’ve completed my Goodreads challenge of 50 books, and I’ve set my 2021 Goodreads challenge for the same amount. My Year in Books | 2020

Well, how much of a shit show was 2020?! I know that 2021 isn’t going to be miraculously better, but we can hope! When it came to my reading, I was in a slump for most of the year, but I still managed to achieve my Goodreads Challenge which was 50 books!

I’ve set myself some reading goals for next year, and I’m hoping that I can read at least 50 books again next year as my TBR pile is just way too big.

Since I’ve bought a TBR cart – you know the one: the black one from IKEA that’s featured on every Instagram post 😂 – I’ve been putting the books that I want to read the most on there. My TBR pile is around 200 books, so obviously I can’t put every single one on there, hence me just putting on the ones I want to read as soon as I can.

I thought that I would make this a monthly thing. It’s a TBR post, to be honest. But, I thought I would make it more personal to me since I have a cart.
