Top 10 Tuesday: Books I Hope Santa Brings | 22/12/20

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

I love this week’s theme. I’m currently sat in the living room, the open fire on, a cup of tea on the table next to me, and the Christmas lights twinkling in front of me, the smell of the pine needles filling the room. Christmas is my favourite time of year!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish list prompt originally hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

The topic for this week is:

Books I Hope Santa Brings

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

I haven’t actually asked for 10 books for Christmas (which is very unusual for me). Normally, my whole Christmas list would just be books, but my mom always says that it’s boring and she doesn’t just want to buy me books… So I branched out this year, and included some make-up/skincare and clothes! BUT, THERE ARE A FEW BOOKS, and I’ll just add some other ones to this list that aren’t on my actual Christmas list, but books that I want to buy anyway.

BOOKS ON MY CHRISTMAS LIST:

Iron Heart is a must-have for me, I absolutely love this series so much. I’ve already read both Crier’s War and Iron Heart on audiobook, but I want the physical copies so that I can do a re-read. A Song of Wraiths and Ruin has been on my TBR ever since it was released, so it’s about time that I read it. And as for the Shades of Magic graphic novels, well… They’re just a must-buy, to be honest.

BOOKS NOT ON MY LIST, BUT I WANT TO BUY:

I saw Cemetery Beach whilst I was browsing the graphic novels in Waterstones, and I thought that it sounded really interesting. Sharing a House with the Never-Ending Man sounds like something that I will absolutely love considering it’s about Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli… I think this might be the first book that I buy in the new year.

What books have you asked for for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below, and happy TTT!

Until next time…

  1. Merry Christmas to you! (And Happy Holidays, too, if you celebrate other winter festivities as well. 🙂 )

I hope you get all of these books for Christmas.

    My post.
