Illumicrate Unboxing | July 2020
Who doesn’t love a good book subscription box, eh? You get loads of bookish goodies, and when it arrives every month, it feels like your birthday/Christmas and it’s amazing. It’s like a present from you to you.
Anyway, let’s get into the unboxing!
The theme for this month was ‘We Are the Resistance’.
As usual with sub boxes, there is a spoiler card inside that tells you the theme for the month and also what you can find inside the box, but I never read this until I have seen every single item, as I don’t want to spoiled!
The first item that I saw in this months Illumicrate box was this gorgeous ceramic book pot that was designed by Chatty Nora. I’ve placed in on top of one of my bookshelves and I’ve popped a few of my favourite earrings in there for safekeeping!
The next item that I saw were these cool sunglasses designed by Hey Atlas Creative. I’m not one for sunglasses. I can never find a pair that suits my weird shaped head.

You can never have enough notebooks! This beautiful notebook was designed by Carly A-F and is inspired by one of my favourite series of all time: The Bone Season!
Next, there were these beautiful Ember in the Ashes character cards that were designed by Michela Cacciatore. What annoys me the most is that I STILL HAVEN’T READ Ember in the Ashes. I am so behind and it makes me so sad because I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the series.

There was a promotional bookmark for Sweet Black Waves by Kristina Pêrez
The final item of this months box was a keyring designed by Felfira Moon Designs and was inspired by the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning.

As usual, there is an enamel pin included in the boxes that are inspired by the chosen book of the month and are designed by Fable and Black!
ANNNNNNNDDDDD… the book of the month is Seven Devils by Elizabeth May and Laura Lam. This edition has an exclusive cover, a signed bookplate, and sprayed edges. I actually haven’t heard anything about this book, but it sounds interesting!
