November Wrap Up | 2020

November Wrap Up | 2020

Hey, guys and welcome to my November wrap up!

I haven’t done a wrap-up post in so long. Mainly because I just haven’t been reading anything. My Goodreads goal for 2020 was 50 books, and at the time of writing, I’ve only read 36… So, I’m not doing too good.

Anyway, let’s get on with the wrap-up!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (audiobook & physical): Yes, this is the first time I’m reading it. Please don’t judge me.

The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold (physical): this is a dark, and heavy read so it’s taking me a while to get through it. But, it’s an interesting read.

  • Got the results for my MA Creative Writing. I got a 2:1 but my course (for some reason) only does the overall grade as a pass or a fail. I got a pass, so at least that’s something!
  • It was my 25th birthday. Do you remember what felt like a billion years ago when we had the first U.K. lockdown? I kept taking the piss out of all of my friends who had their birthday during the lockdown. Well, look who’s laughing now. I had my birthday during the second U.K. lockdown. I mean, it was good. I didn’t have to work. But there was also nothing open, so I couldn’t do anything. I just spent the day watching true crime documentaries.
  • Finally decided to take care of my skin, and after loads of research, found the products that were perfect for my skin type.
  • I had my first smear test, and I had the results back through the post (everything is all good!)
