Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

900 billion years later and I finally got the chance to read Cinder. I own all four books in the series and I’ve only just started reading them. WOW, KIRSTY. JUST… WOW. But I’ve finally read the first one and all I can say is that it was worth the wait. This is such an exceptional book and I cannot wait to read more about this world.

Saga Vol. 4 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples

Saga Vol. 4 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples

Yes, all of my graphic novel reviews at the moment are about Saga because it’s amazing and it’s the only graphic novel series that I’m reading at the moment because I can’t get enough of it. If you’ve read my reviews of volumes 1-3, you will know how much I ADORE this series, however volume four wasn’t up to the same standards as the previous three.

The House by Simon Lelic

The House by Simon Lelic

If someone told me that I would be reading loads of thrillers in the future, I wouldn’t have believed them. I do like reading the odd one or two here and there, but I find that thrillers tend to be a bit samey. However, The House was a different type of thriller and a type that I haven’t read before.

History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

This is the first Adam Silvera book that I have ever read. I bought it as soon as it came out but I didn’t end up reading it until months and months later because of the hype that was surrounding the book; it just put me off reading it. Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore by Matthew J. Sullivan

Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore by Matthew J. Sullivan

I’m not going to lie, when the blurb for this book was sent to me, I scan read it. I thought it would be a happy book about a bookstore and the greatness of being in one. HAHAHA. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a THRILLER about a suicide that takes place in a bookstore. Good job I like thrillers then, isn’t it?

July 2017 Book Haul

Even though I was on holiday for the last week and a half of July, I still managed to acquire quite a few books during the other two and a half weeks; I just couldn’t help myself. I was actually really lucky this month, because WH Smith were having a 3 for 2 sale and it was just the best thing ever! They need to have it more often!

ANYWAY! Let’s just get on with the haul…

Bullet Journal | August 2017

Hey, guys and welcome to my August plan with me! I do have a video on my BookTube channel where you can see me physically plan out my August spreads, or I just have pictures of the finished products which are down below! I absolutely love doing my bullet journal. It means that I can sit down for 3 or 4 hours and just relax and draw whilst watching TV…

I will link all of the supplies that I used at the end of each section! Please just be aware that there may be a few products that I can’t link because they are things that I have found in really small craft shops or even from other countries!
