I’m actually writing this two weeks after YALC has finished… It took me so long to do this blog post, from taking the pictures, to including the links! Anyway, as the title suggests, this post shows you all of the things that I got whilst I was at YALC in London this year. I didn’t actually BUY a lot. Most of the things that you can see in this post are free things that I managed to pick up whilst I was there.
So without any further ado, let’s get on with the haul! …
This is my second year at YALC and I was so excited to go so that I could see all of my friends again and some more amazing authors. If you want to read about what I thought of YALC last year, check out my blog post.
I can’t believe that it’s a second year of YALC that’s been and gone. The tickets are available to purchase in January, and it seems like you’re waiting forever for July to come around, and when it does, BAM, it’s already over.
I feel like an opinion piece for YALC is so important, because people need to raise awareness of things that could be improved and the things that are doing well so that the organisers can improve on them next year. …
Okay, so last year, I only did a TBR post, but since YALC released all of the authors for 2019 at the same time, I thought that I would make it slightly easier for me (and you) to figure out which authors are going to be on which days. The full schedule for the weekend will be going up on the London Film and Comic Con website on Friday 3rd May.

Wow, okay so YALC has just happened… It’s been nearly 2 weeks since I came back from YALC, and after seeing so much traffic for my daily YALC posts, I decided to write an opinions piece on it. I feel like this is such an important thing to do, because people need to raise awareness of the good things and the bad, so that the Showmasters can decide which things need improving for next year.
I do have a lot of thoughts on YALC, both positive and negative and I’m going to try and explain the negative as best as I can. Do remember, this year was my first year at YALC, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, other than what my friends have said. …
It was the last day of YALC today and honestly, I AM SO SAD! I’ve met so many amazing people from Twitter and made some great friends that I can’t wait to see again. I know that YALC is a celebration of Young Adult literature, but it’s the people there and the friends that you make that really make the weekend what it is: BRILLIANT. …
Another day means another day of YALC, which consequently means another day OF BOOK SHOPPING! As expected, today was jam-packed with anything and everything. There were loads of big-name authors that were signing, there were amazing panels, and there were quite a few giveaways! Like I said: JAM-PACKED! …

Also, when YALC has finished (thinking about that right now is making me so sad), I’m going to be posting a YALC 2018 review of some sorts, so I can share my overall thoughts with you on what I liked, and what I didn’t like (but I’m hoping that there won’t be any negativity!) …
This is the first year that I’m going to be going to YALC and I AM SO EXCITED! I’m going with so many amazing people as well that I have met from Twitter and who I have met up with before. It is an expensive weekend, to be honest. It was £50 for the ticket and then I had to book a hotel for the three nights, and then obviously there are going to be stalls where I’ll want to buy things, so it’s going to get very expensive. BUT! It only happens once a year, so I don’t mind. Anyway, here is the full overview of what I’m looking forward to, and my reading plans. …
