After reading Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller, I was sold on her writing style and the characters that she creates. But let me just tell you how excited I was to read a new young adult book from a debut author, but also… this is a fantasy book that was a standalone!! It is very very rare that we see this, so I was all here for it.
