What’s On My February TBR Cart? | 2021

What’s On My February TBR Cart? | 2021

Since I’ve bought a TBR cart – you know the one: the black one from IKEA that’s featured on every Instagram post 😂 – I’ve been putting the books that I want to read the most on there. My TBR pile is around 200 books, so obviously I can’t put every single one on there, hence me just putting on the ones I want to read as soon as I can.

When I was writing my January TBR, it was then that I realised how many books I had actually included. There were just so many, but I think I did quite well! I’m going to include a picture of what my cart looked like at the beginning of January, and then I’ll include a picture of what it looks like at the end, so you can see all the gaps. Obviously, there will be a January wrap up as well, so you can check out which books I actually read during the month.

Anyway, let’s get on with the post!

I thought that I would make this a monthly thing. It’s a TBR post, to be honest. But, I thought I would make it more personal to me since I have a cart. Some of the books could stay the same over the months, some of the books could change, depending on how many I read, but I guess we can try it out and if this post works, well… GOOD FOR ME 😂

My Top 10 Books on My NetGalley TBR

My Top 10 Books on My NetGalley TBR

NetGalley is probably one of the most addictive things ever, and I get very click-happy when I’m on there. I request anything that has a beautiful cover, and then the next thing I know, I’ve got 30 new books to read and review. I have a problem. So, in 2021, I’m going to prioritise the books that I have on my NetGalley TBR shelf so that I can get my review percentage up!

I took a good look at my very long TBR and chose the 10 books that I want to get to as soon as possible, as they sound absolutely amazing!

21 Backlog Books I NEED to Read in 2021

21 Backlog Books I NEED to Read in 2021

Throughout my years of reading and blogging, I have set myself many goals. Whether they are to read a certain amount of books in a year or to finish a series… And here we are again. A new year means setting myself a goal that I probably won’t complete (but hey, it’s nice to think you might, right?)

In 2020, I didn’t really get through that many books that have been on my TBR for a long time. Out of the 20 books I told myself that I would read in 2020, I read 3. That’s right. 3. It’s terrible!!! So, let’s see how I get on in 2021!

These are the books that have been on my TBR for a VERY long time!

YALC TBR | 2019

YALC TBR | 2019

I absolutely loved YALC last year, and I knew that I definitely wanted to try and make it every year. I had a bit of a stressful time this year with booking my tickets for YALC, as I soon found out that YALC and my graduation are happening on the same weekend. But I decided to defer my graduation until January and make YALC the priority.

It is an expensive weekend, to be honest. It was £60 for the ticket and then I had to book a hotel for the three nights, and then obviously there are going to be stalls where I’ll want to buy things, so it’s going to get very expensive. BUT! It only happens once a year, so I don’t mind. Anyway, here is the full overview of what I’m looking forward to, and my reading plans.

Top 10 Tuesday: Books on My Autumn TBR

Top 10 Tuesday: Books on My Autumn TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish list prompt originally hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme for this week is:

September 11: Books on your Autumn TBR

I’ve actually split this post into two sections. Because it’s September, that means that I’m back to university and that also means that I have a lot of reading to do. So the first section is going to be the books that I have to read for university, but the second half will be the 10 books that I will probably end up reading.

YALC 2018 TBR

YALC 2018 TBR

This is the first year that I’m going to be going to YALC and I AM SO EXCITED! I’m going with so many amazing people as well that I have met from Twitter and who I have met up with before. It is an expensive weekend, to be honest. It was £50 for the ticket and then I had to book a hotel for the three nights, and then obviously there are going to be stalls where I’ll want to buy things, so it’s going to get very expensive. BUT! It only happens once a year, so I don’t mind. Anyway, here is the full overview of what I’m looking forward to, and my reading plans.

My 2016 Summer Reading List

My 2016 Summer Reading List

When summer comes, that means summer holidays and that means loads of time to curl up by the side of the pool or lie on the sofa and to allow yourself to be plunged into a completely different world.

In a few weeks, that’s going to be me. So I decided to share with all of you book lovers my reading list for the summer.
