After reading Paper Butterflies by Lisa Heathfield and absolutely LOVING IT, I was so excited to read more by her, and when I was offered Flight of a Starling from the publisher, I couldn’t wait to get into it. So I know that it looks like I’ve spent a lot of money this month considering that most of these books are hardbacks, but I found so many good deals for them! I work in a charity bookstore and I found around 30-40% of this book haul in there and considering that the books in my shop are £1.50 each, I think it’s safe to say that I got some amazing deals! Then I bought a few from the new and used marketplace on Amazon and then the rest were ‘buy one get one half’ price from Waterstones! So really… I didn’t actually spend that much money. My parents would be proud.
