Top 10 Tuesday: Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers | 16/02/21

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week, I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite purple, yellow, and green book covers. I’m going to split this post into sections, so the first seven books are going to books that I’ve read, and then the last three are books that are on my TBR! This post is in honour of Mardi Gras, which is actually today! Make sure you get all those pancakes ready! And if you’re taking part in Lent, GOOD LUCK!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish list prompt originally hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and currently hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

The topic for this week is:

Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers (in honour of Mardi Gras, which is TODAY!)

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Ahhhhh, just look at some of these beautiful covers. When it comes to The Diviners, I do prefer the original cover. I love thd different shades of purples 😍. Wilder Girls is another one of my favourite covers, along with King of Scars (I mean, how could you NOT like this beauty), and the last of this bunch is You Should See Me in a Crown. Everything about that cover is perfection.

Next, we have Goodbye, Perfect which is even more beautiful in person as it has shiny gold foil on the cover. Then, we have The Shadows Between Us, and this is the Fairy Loot exclusive edition, the original cover is red, and I gotta say… I think that I definitely prefer the purple version. And the last cover of the books that I’ve read is The Mask Falling, the latest book in The Bone Season series (and my favourite so far!)

Lastly, I have three books that are on my TBR pile. First, we have Pulp which has been on my TBR for absolutely AAAGGGEESSS, then The Taking of Jake Livingston. This cover is one of the best covers I’ve seen lately, and I can’t wait for it to come out in July so I can read it straight away! The last book that we have is A Pho Love Story. I have heard so many amazing things about this book, and I actually have an ARC, so I have no excuses to not have read this yet!

March 9: Spring Cleaning Freebie (for example, books you’re planning to get rid of for whatever reason, book’s you’d like to clean off your TBR by either reading them or deciding you’re not interested, books that feel fresh and clean to you after winter is over, etc.)

April 20: Colorful Book Covers
April 27: Animals from Books (these could be mythical, real, main characters, sidekicks, companions/pets, shifters, etc.) (Submitted by Paige @paigesquared and Jennifer Y. @ Never Too Many to Read)
