My Year in Books | 2019

My Year in Books | 2019

2019 is done, and I’m praying that 2020 is a better year for my personal life, but also for reading as well. If you’ve been following me on Goodreads, Twitter, or on my blog, you will know that my reading year has not been good. AT ALL. BUT, let’s let the stats speak for themselves. Here we go. Here are my stats and all of the books that I read in 2019.

This is so sad. Last year I read something like 87 books, the year before I read 119. 33! BLOODY 33! UGGGHHHH. My goal was actually set to 80 books for 2019, but everytime I logged onto Goodreads and I would see that I was something like 20 books behind my schedule, it would make me so depressed, so I lowered it. So, even though I’ve completed my new Goodreads challenge of 30 books, it’s still not as many as I wanted to read.

It’s really not surprising that A Conjuring of Light is the longest one! It’s a brick! IT’S A FLIPPIN’ WEAPON!

Again, not surprising at all. The ADSOM trilogy is massively popular within everyone.

I think this rating might actually be the same as last year? As you can see, I read some okay books this year, but then some amazing ones. I’m surprised it’s not higher, to be honest.

YAAASSSSS! I loved Heartstopper so much. I remember when I collected my pre-order from Waterstones, I got home and I was only going to flip through the book, but then I ended up sitting there for half an hour reading it instead. And I loved it!
