For those of you who are regular readers of my blog, you will know that I absolutely LOVE the Stalking Jack the Ripper series by Kerri Maniscalco, and Spectacle definitely gives me SJTR vibes mixed with a little bit of The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter.

For the people that have already read it, there have been mixed reviews. Some people say that it’s amazing and then some people are saying that it wasn’t as good as they thought it would be, but oh well… Which is the reason I didn’t pre-order it. But it comes out next week anyway, so I don’t have to wait that long!
