I actually really enjoyed The Cruel Prince. I love Holly Black’s writing and I love the worlds that she creates so it’s no surprise that I enjoyed it. There were a few aspects of the story that I had problems with, but not enough to really hinder my experience of the novel.

The ending of The Cruel Prince was crazy, so of course I’m excited about The Wicked King. I’m intrigued to see what all of the characters get up to next.
