Easter Readathon TBR | 2020

Easter Readathon TBR | 2020

Hello, there!

It’s that time of year again: the time where we all gorge on chocolate and feel sick, but carry on eating it anyway… Just me? Ok…

Even though I have loads of work to do for my MA Creative Writing course, I couldn’t pass up on Kate’s Easter Readathon! The readathon will run from 12.01am on Friday 10th April until 11.59pm on Monday 13th April and you can use the prompts below that Kate has left for us, or you can just read whatever you want! Kate said that she will also be hosting Twitter reading sprints, so follow her on there if you want to take part!

Destination Anywhere by Sara Barnard

I genuinely have no idea what this book is about, but the cover is nice and bright and gives off a cheery vibe, so let’s hope that the actual contents of the book is as cheery!

Queen of Coin and Whispers by Helen Corcoran

This book has been on my TBR for a very long time and the premise sounds absolutely amazing!

The Watcher by Ralph Tedesco and Victoria Rau

This is a graphic novel that I recently requested off NetGalley, so I’m kinda using this readathon as well to read some of the titles I’ve requested. It’s also the complete opposite of cheery being as it’s about death and demons!

Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon

This is another book that’s been on my TBR for a while and Sandhya Menon is one of my favourite authors!

Love, Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed

After reading Samira Ahmed’s Internment (and falling in love with her writing), I wanted to read everything that she had written, so here we are!

So, there we have it! There’s my TBR for the readathon. I really don’t think that I’ll read all of them because of doing university work as well, but I’m going to give it a good go!

Don’t forget to check out Kate’s website, and also her Twitter for more information about the readathon!

Happy reading!
