Top 10 Tuesday: Favourite Bookish Couples | 09/02/21

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week is a Valentine’s Day freebie, so we can choose whatever topic we want that relates to Valentine’s Day in any way, so I decided to share ten of my favourite bookish couples!

ABC Book Challenge: ‘F’

ABC Book Challenge: ‘F’

I’m finally getting back into the ABC Book Challenge. It’s a weekly book meme, but I’ve decided to do one/two a month instead, so things don’t get boring!

The rules are simple. Each time you pick your most memorable reads and books from your TBR that start with that posts letter. I can’t seem to find where this book tag originated from, so if anyone has any idea, just let me know.

Anyway, let’s get on with the tag. This week, I’m going to be talking about the books that start with the letter ‘F’

Top 10 Tuesday: Books Written Before I Was Born | 02/02/21

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week, we’re going to be talking about books that we’ve read or books that we WANT to read, that were written before I was born – which was 1995. This is basically going to be a list of classics, isn’t it? BECAUSE I’M SO OLD! 😭I genuinely don’t think there are any books that are on my TBR that was written before 1995… I guess it’s time to scroll through my Goodreads list!

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week, we’re going to be talking about all of the new-to-me authors whose books I read in 2020. Most of these authors are ones that I should have read a very long time ago, and because I’m awful, I’ve only just gotten around to them. I’m actually surprised I read books from 10 new authors. I usually stick to authors that I know and love (which is stupid, I know).

Top 10 Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read In 2020 but Didn’t Get To | 19/01/21

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week, we’ll be talking about which books I meant to read in 2020 but… well… didn’t. Because I am awful at making TBR lists. Why I started my TBR Cart post series, I have no idea why. I’m a mood reader. I actually made a post at the beginning of 2020 talking about backlog books I wanted to read. Spoiler alert: I hardly read any of them. I then made a post of backlog books I wanted to read in 2021. So because I’ve already (kinda) done this post, I decided to use a few of the books from my own post, and then add a few more different books!

Yes, I’m here again with another Top 10 Tuesday post. I’m trying to get back into taking part in the weekly challenge as I love how it brings the book blogging community together!

This week’s theme has us talking about our bookish (or non-bookish) resolutions for 2021. I actually made my own post about some of the bookish resolutions I made for 2021, so some of these may be repeated, but I’ll also include some personal ones if I can think of any! 😂

The ABC Book Challenge: ‘D’

It’s been ages since I’ve done The ABC Book Challenge, and I’m not gonna lie, posting every day in December, has meant that my brain just dried up with ideas, so I thought ‘ well… time to carry on the book challenge!’

The rules are simple. Each week you pick your most memorable reads and books from your TBR that start with that week’s letter. I can’t seem to find where this book tag originated from, so if anyone has any idea, just let me know.

End of 2020 | Book Tag

End of 2020 | Book Tag

I think that it’s safe to say that 2020 should just be a write-off. None of us knew – when we were all writing our end of 2019 posts – how bad this year would be, how much each and every one of us would lose, the shocks that we would endure, the stresses that we would go through. To be honest, when the Australian bush fires happened at the beginning of the year, when there was a U.S. drone strike at Baghdad, I guess that was our warning that 2020 would be pure shit.

Because I work in a pub, I have hardly worked this year, which means that my bank has definitely been under stress, but I’ve gotten through it thanks to my Mom.

Anyway, this post is a book tag, so let us get started…
