Last time I read something by Lynn Weingarten was 3 years ago and it was Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls. It was an ok book. Nothing amazing but it was entertaining. The last time that I had heard (or read) anything from Amy Plum, it was the Die For Me trilogy. I think I read the books when I was about 14 (?) and I remember really enjoying them. That’s most of the reason to why I picked up Dreamfall, because of who the author was. The rest of the reason was because the premise sounded absolutely AMAZING!

I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO READ THIS FOR SO LONG! I saw this book in my local Waterstones about a year ago when I was at the monthly book club that I attend. The cover drew me to it. It was just creepy. The whole aesthetics of the book was just mind-blowing. There are pictures, the pages are grey. the cover is amazing and there is an app that you can play alongside reading the book.

I saw this book in my local Foyles about a year and a half ago. The thing that drew me to this book was that:

  • It was square, which is quite unusual for a book
  • It looked like it was set in IKEA
  • It had pictures

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins

Stephanie Perkins is (apparently) the Queen of young adult contemporary novels. I say apparently because I haven’t read her contemporary work. So when she released the premise of her new novel: There’s Someone Inside Your House, I was instantly intrigued. Perkins had left the world of gushy, cheesy, romantic, contemporary and delved into the world of thriller, murder and mystery.
